Students at Valley Christian Schools (VCS) are gearing up for the next XPRIZE, leading student teams around the world in an international alliance to advance innovation and solve global challenges.
VCS' Team Avatar Quest entered the $10M ANA Avatar XPRIZE, a four-year competition to create robotic avatar systems to enable humans to interact within remote environments as if they are truly there.
Expanding to an international alliance should accelerate solutions and provide a pathway for other student teams to participate in an XPRIZE competition.
VCS is uniquely equipped to lead this effort, As the winner of the NOAA Bonus Prize in the $7M Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE their experience and access to the VCS Research and Development Department will give them the edge they need to compete among an elite group of research institutions and universities. The team is looking forward to this next challenge and sharing their learning and innovation with students around the globe.
