Eric Scharrenberg joined Valley Christian Schools in 1997 and has served in a variety of roles including Vice Chancellor, Director of Operations, and High School Athletic Director before moving into his current role as VCS Vice President in charge of K-12 Athletics and Physical Education in August of 2007. Under his leadership, Valley Christian High School was twice named the California Division IV athletic school of the year and Valley Christian teams have earned twenty-three CCS team championships and dozens of individual CCS titles. Valley Christian teams, athletes, and coaches have been recognized at a state and national level on numerous occasions over the past ten years for their accomplishments. Eric led the launch of the highly acclaimed Little Warrior Nation program on the elementary school campus in the fall of 2008 and it was his vision that launched the Human Performance Center on the Skyway campus in the fall of 2013. Coach Scharrenberg holds a degree in Counseling Psychology from San Jose State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University. He is nationally recognized as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) and also teaches Leadership Training and Coaching Education classes around the state. He and his wife Christina are the proud parents of Luke, Rebecca, and Lauren.
